Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Title

• Travel RN - Stepdown/Specialty Nurse

• Asheville, NC

• Travel, Nights, 12.5-hour shifts, 13-week duration

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the progressive care or stepdown unit, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient vital signs and medical equipment, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly, utilizing advanced clinical skills and critical thinking.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital policies to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for North Carolina or applicable state licensing requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a stepdown, PCU, or IMC setting
• Ability to work rotating night shifts and adapt to flexible schedules
• BLS and ACLS certification required

• Experience with robotic surgery units or cardiac care is a plus
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
