- Full-time, 13-week contract, 36 hours guaranteed, Days shifts, 12-hour shifts, on-site
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to residents at a veterans home
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare team to support resident needs
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies
Required Qualifications
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Proven experience in speech therapy, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capable of managing a caseload and documenting care accurately
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working with veteran populations
- CPR or basic life support certification
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in healthcare settings
