Mammography Technologist
Location:
Atlanta, GA
Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, 13-week assignment, Days shift, 8 hours per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mammography procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and safety standards
- Document and review a minimum of 200 mammography exams within the past 24 months, validated by leadership
- Complete all required digital and 3D/tomo training with proper documentation
- Conduct initial supervised exams, totaling at least 25 procedures
- Maintain current ARRT Mammography certification and compliance with ongoing education requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in mammography
- ARRT Certification in Mammography
- Official documentation of at least 200 mammography exams completed in the last 24 months
- Current AHA BLS certification
- 15 Breast-specific CEUs completed in the last 3 years
- Documentation of 8 hours of digital training and 8 hours of 3D/tomo training
- Documented 40 hours of mammography training
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience working in a fast-paced imaging environment
- Strong understanding of digital mammography and 3D/tomo imaging technologies
