Job Title

• Travel, Nights, 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room for a variety of surgical procedures.
• Assist during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Document patient care and surgical details accurately using the hospital’s documentation system.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and technicians, to facilitate smooth procedures.
• Follow hospital policies and unit-specific protocols for trauma and surgical care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse license in the state of Kansas or appropriate compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in perioperative or operating room nursing.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts as scheduled.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Surgical or procedural experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with complex surgeries such as trauma, cardiovascular, orthopedics, or pediatric procedures is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
