Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts, 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to ICU patients with multi-system failure, including those with sepsis, pneumonia, GI bleed, and organ failure
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients, adhering to ICU protocols and standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in Epic electronic health record system
• Float within scope of practice as needed, following facility policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and hospital policies

Required Qualifications

• Valid Virginia nursing license (pending licenses accepted with in-hand license by the start date)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic electronic health record experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience, Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred
• Previous ICU experience in a Level 1 trauma or similar critical care setting
• Familiarity with hospital float policies and compliance standards
