Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a consultant for inpatient wound care patients, providing recommendations, wound photography, and measurements
- Perform new ostomy education and teaching for inpatient population
- Manage complex wound VACs and fistulas independently
- Conduct weekly follow-up assessments on wound care patients
- Document all clinical activities and findings using the Expanse documentation system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (WOCN) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of wound care experience
- Ability to function autonomously in a consultative, independent role
- Proficiency with electronic health record documentation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with the Expanse documentation system
- Prior travel nursing experience in a wound care or ostomy specialty
- Experience managing complex fistulas and wound VAC therapy in an inpatient setting
