Travel RN – Freestanding Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | 4 weekend shifts per schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for both high and low acuity emergency department patients in a freestanding ED setting
• Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill patients with a patient ratio of 4:1
• Administer medications and perform clinical procedures appropriate to the emergency department environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including EMTs and mid-level providers to deliver safe, effective patient care
• Accurately document patient care activities using Meditech EMR
• Function effectively both independently and as part of a small night shift team

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to care for critically ill patients
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
• Prior experience in a freestanding or satellite emergency department environment
