Registered Nurse Medical Surgical/Tele

Registered Nurse
Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to orthopedic, neuro spine, med-surg, and post-surgical patients.
• Monitor patient status, manage pain, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced orthopedic unit.
• Perform IV starts, telemetry, and other essential nursing procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records using Epic.
• Float as required to other medical-surgical units within the facility based on staffing needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an orthopedic or related specialty.
• Valid NC or Compact State RN license.
• Current BCLS and NIH certifications.
• Ability to pass EKG testing prior to shift start.
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records system.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• ACLS certification.
• Charge nurse experience.
• Level I trauma experience.
