- Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring and cardiac infusions
- Assist with pre- and post-procedure care in Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Lab
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans utilizing ANA Standards and the Nursing Process
- Educate patients and families on significant self-care issues
- Support medication inventory, distribution, and delivery as needed
- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring safety and quality of care
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Maryland
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Must obtain and maintain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 12 months of employment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in telemetry, cardiac care, or cardiovascular units
- Strong technical skills in nursing procedures and equipment use
