Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Medical Acute Care unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Administer and monitor IV drips including heparin and other medications using Baxter IV pumps
- Care for medical patients and post-operative radial cardiac catheterization patients
- Operate and monitor SCD machines and other unit equipment as required
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with charge nurses, fellow RNs, and Patient Care Technicians across day shift operations
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of current Medical/Surgical acute care hospital experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado or compact licensure eligibility
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- High-energy, team-oriented personality with a strong focus on patient care
