Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans upon physician referral to restore maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled individuals
- Select, perform, and/or direct assistance in educational, vocational, and recreational therapeutic activities
- Collaborate with family members and health team members regarding patient abilities and treatment goals
- Apply knowledge of occupational therapy as it relates to physical disability, rehabilitation, general medicine, surgical, and mental health concepts
- Demonstrate effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect for other team members
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Current Oregon State Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure through the Oregon State Board of Health
- Current valid Oregon driver's license
- Current CPR certification
- Current knowledge of occupational therapy principles related to physical disability, rehabilitation, general medicine, surgical, and mental health concepts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage patients, families, and team members effectively
