Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans upon physician referral to restore maximum function to physically and/or mentally disabled individuals
• Select, perform, and/or direct assistance in educational, vocational, and recreational therapeutic activities
• Collaborate with family members and health team members regarding patient abilities and treatment goals
• Apply knowledge of occupational therapy as it relates to physical disability, rehabilitation, general medicine, surgical, and mental health concepts
• Demonstrate effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect for other team members

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the American Occupational Therapy Association
• Current Oregon State Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure through the Oregon State Board of Health
• Current valid Oregon driver's license
• Current CPR certification
• Current knowledge of occupational therapy principles related to physical disability, rehabilitation, general medicine, surgical, and mental health concepts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage patients, families, and team members effectively
