Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting within a short-term acute care facility
- Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4
- Float between units within the facility or to affiliate facilities based on staffing needs and individual skill sets
- Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Complete required onboarding modules prior to start and annually thereafter
Required Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license (may submit with license pending)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry, including prior travel nursing experience
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates considered at a different rate structure)
- Must have a personal vehicle available for use during this assignment
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care hospital environment
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to float assignments across multiple units or facilities
