Contract | Nights (3×12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Step-Down unit within a short-term acute care facility
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips in accordance with unit protocols and physician orders
• Monitor and manage patients at a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float between units within the facility as needed to support staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document all patient care activities accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
• IMC (Intermediate Care) experience required
• Demonstrated proficiency in titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips — this is a hard-stop requirement
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system — this is a hard-stop requirement
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a Level II Trauma Center environment
• Familiarity with step-down or progressive care unit workflows and patient populations
