Job Title
• Registered Nurse - CVICU

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts (12 hours per shift), rotating holidays and weekends, up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period, including weekdays and some weekends

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac ICU patients, including those requiring complex procedures and advanced interventions
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to acute changes in patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments such as IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, and conscious sedation
• Utilize advanced cardiovascular equipment, including Swan-Ganz catheter monitoring and balloon pumps
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed

Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of recent Cardiac ICU nursing experience
• Valid Ohio or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proven skills in IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, Swan-Ganz, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, and Pa lines
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to meet strict credentialing and fingerprinting compliance deadlines

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with septic patient management
• Prior travel healthcare experience

Additional Information
• Strict travel compliance and fingerprinting deadline of Tuesday prior to start
• RTO must be communicated at time of submission
• Candidates outside Ohio must complete fingerprinting in Ohio immediately after booking; those within driving distance are responsible for on-site fingerprinting
• References required: 2 total—at least 1 supervisor/manager, no coworker references
• No current employees at the facility are eligible; former employees eligible after 6 months away
• Candidates must adhere to the urgency of credentialing and responsiveness to credentialing team
