Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Onsite | Primarily 12-hour shifts, occasional 8-hour shifts | Every 3rd weekend required | Holidays as they fall

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility setting
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the facility's electronic medical record system (PCC)
• Monitor and assess resident health status, reporting changes to the appropriate care team members
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Participate in location-specific orientation prior to beginning patient care assignments

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas or compact eligibility
• Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
• Proficiency with or ability to learn electronic medical record systems, specifically PCC
• Ability to meet weekend rotation requirements (every 3rd weekend)
• Ability to work holidays as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a SNF or LTC setting with similar patient-to-staff ratios
• Familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) EMR platform
