Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit with a focus on transplant patients including kidney, kidney-pancreas, pancreas, and liver transplant
• Educate patients on self-management of medications, dietary changes, and recognition of rejection symptoms in preparation for discharge
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to maintain high standards of patient care
• Deliver excellent customer service with a strong focus on patient experience and HCAHPS outcomes
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or compact license on file at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry setting
• Prior travel nursing experience in a large Level I trauma facility
• Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
• Ability to work night shifts in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in transplant nursing (kidney, pancreas, and/or liver)
• Demonstrated commitment to patient education and discharge planning for transplant populations
