Contract | Days, 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent nursing care for high-acuity patients in a 24-bed Medical Intermediate Care Unit, including ventilated and critically ill patients with multiorgan failure
• Manage patients presenting with conditions such as heart failure, respiratory failure, liver failure, and renal failure
• Administer and monitor pressors, cardiac drips, diuretics, anticoagulants, and sedatives safely and accurately
• Identify early signs of patient decompensation and escalate care appropriately using strong clinical judgment
• Serve as overflow support for pulmonary, surgical, and trauma IMCU units as needed
• Maintain focus on patient experience and customer service standards in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an Intermediate Care or similar high-acuity setting
• Prior travel nursing experience in a large Level I Trauma facility
• Demonstrated proficiency with high-acuity patient populations and complex medication drips
• Strong clinical judgment with the ability to independently manage critically ill patients

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for ventilated patients and those with multiorgan failure
• Familiarity with pulmonary, surgical, and trauma intermediate care patient populations
