Cath Lab Technician – Radiology/Cardiology

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Onsite | Guaranteed 40 Hours

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties specializing in Cardiac Catheterization Lab procedures
• Assist with Interventional Radiology, Vascular, and/or Neuro procedures as applicable to scope
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within the regional hospital network
• Participate in on-call coverage on a case-by-case basis as determined by unit need
• Document and chart patient care activities using EPIC
• Complete all required facility modules prior to start date and adhere to all compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of experience in Cath Lab specialty (2 years preferred); experience must be reflected in work history
• Experience in at least two of the following four modalities: Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, or Neuro
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• No pending licenses accepted; all active credentials must be in place prior to start
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; no additions will be accepted after submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) certification preferred
• Two or more years of experience across multiple modalities (Cardiac Cath, IR, Vascular, Neuro)
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
