Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title
• Emergency Room Registered Nurse - 26 Week Contract

Location
• Burlington, MA

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Contract, Nights, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide emergency care to patients in a Level 1 trauma center
• Assess and triage patients with medical emergencies or trauma incidents
• Document patient assessments and procedures using EPIC electronic medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
• Attend to patients in private treatment rooms, imaging, pharmacy, and fast-track areas
• Participate in holiday shifts and work every other weekend as required

Required Qualifications
• Valid MA nursing license
• Minimum of 2 years ER experience, preferably in a Level 1 trauma setting
• Epic EMR experience essential
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience working in a large, state-of-the-art emergency department
• Familiarity with trauma and emergency procedures
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations efficiently
