• Full-time, Contract, Nights, 4 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on a 34-bed Med/Surg unit with telemetry.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to various medical needs efficiently.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately in the Cerner electronic medical record system.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid WV or Compact RN license (pending licenses accepted for submission).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in a Med/Surg setting.
• Current BLS and NIH certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work night shifts, Monday through Sunday, with a flexible schedule.
• Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility; exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis for distances between 75-100 miles.
• Strong clinical skills specific to Med/Surg and telemetry nursing.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Additional Notes

• No travel experience required.
• Scrubs are not provided.
• Facility will only tolerate 2-3 call-offs per contract due to attendance policies.
• Orientation is held every other Monday.
