Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | 4x10s or 3x12s | Rotating On-Call Weekends | Projected Start: July 6, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub technologist duties in a 7-OR operating room environment supporting ortho, spine, urology, general, and GYN surgical procedures
- Operate and assist with advanced robotic surgical systems including DaVinci, MAKO, and Globus platforms
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and collaborate with RNs, OR Aides, Anesthesia Techs, and Schedulers
- Document accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Float as needed between Main OR, second-floor OR (eyes), and endoscopy units per department policy
Required Qualifications
- Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience
- Proficiency in ortho, spine, urology, general, and GYN surgical procedures
- Experience with Stryker, Arthrex, and Olympus surgical equipment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Hands-on experience with DaVinci and/or MAKO robotic surgical systems
- Familiarity with Medtronic Stealth navigation technology
- Experience in a multi-specialty operating room environment
