Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and provide occupational therapy treatment upon physician referral
• Treat patients with disabilities, disorders, and injuries to relieve pain and develop, restore, or maintain physical function
• Utilize therapeutic modalities including exercise, massage, heat, cold, air, light, water, electricity, and sound
• Collaborate with family members and health team members regarding patient abilities and goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university
• Must meet all requisites for licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the Oregon State Board of Health
• Current valid Oregon driver's license required
• Current CPR certification required
• Thorough knowledge of therapy procedures, orthopedic and neurological follow-up procedures, and rehabilitation practices
• Strong communication skills and effective team interaction, support, and respect

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior clinical experience in occupational therapy is desired, though not required if all other qualifications are met
• Basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, and sending email messages
