Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite | Float Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department oncology pod setting
• Float to designated units as required per facility needs
• Perform IV starts and manage patient care within a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality emergency care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Active, valid RN compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
• Active certifications required: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology experience is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with oncology patient populations in an emergency or acute care setting
