Registered Nurse – ICU (Critical Care Float Pool)

Key Responsibilities

• Float across a variety of critical care units based on staffing needs and patient acuity, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU
• Deliver high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients in accordance with unit-specific protocols and standards
• Perform IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management as required by patient care needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes across floating assignments
• Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity per established float pool policy

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system required
• Demonstrated competency in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
• Valid compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience floating across multiple ICU environments or critical care specialties
