Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM, with potential 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM option) | 36 Hours Weekly | Weekend Rotations Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rapid assessment and triage of emergency room patients across a wide range of medical conditions
• Provide trauma management and advanced life support interventions
• Establish and maintain IV access and perform other clinical interventions as required
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department environment
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience required
• Active WV RN license or valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted for submission)
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• PALS certification through AHA (if required by unit)
• Proficiency in rapid assessment, triage, trauma management, and advanced life support
• Must not be a first-time traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) certification preferred
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
