CT Technologist - Radiology

Schedule / Job Type

Full-Time, Direct Hire, Onsite | Weekend Nights, 3x12s, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Call requirement every 6 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray procedures on patients as requested by physicians or licensed providers for the purpose of diagnosing disease and injury
• Operate CT imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols and under the supervision of a Radiologist
• Cover radiology unit duties including both CT and general X-ray imaging
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation approximately every 6 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) or Nuclear Medicine (N), or CNMT certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board
• Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
• BLS certification required (or must obtain within 30 days of hire)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a cardiac or specialty hospital environment
• Familiarity with radiology information systems and PACS
