Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for telemetry patients, interpreting cardiac rhythms and responding appropriately
• Perform IV insertions and manage IV therapy throughout the patient care continuum
• Administer medications accurately and in accordance with facility protocols
• Collect and monitor laboratory specimens and results, escalating concerns as needed
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Document all patient care activities accurately using the facility's electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license – compact or state license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must be able to pass a telemetry competency test
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system required
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit setting
• Demonstrated experience monitoring telemetry patients in a clinical environment
