Job Title
• Outpatient Physical Therapist

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days, 5x8 Hours

Key Responsibilities
• Provide outpatient physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in a clinical setting.
• Administer assessments, develop treatment plans, and document patient progress using Epic EMR system.
• Ensure compliance with all VA licensing, certification, and documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols, including maintaining current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through AHA.

Required Qualifications
• Valid VA physical therapy license or proof of compact license.
• Proof of VA travel compliance and current VA licenses submitted at the time of application.
• Epic EMR experience preferred, especially within acute care hospitals.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS through the American Heart Association.
• Education: NIH and stroke education required for RN candidates at Riverside Health acute care facilities.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Recent outpatient and acute care hospital experience within the last year.
• Prior hospital-based therapy experience with familiarity in specialty settings.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Additional Information
Candidates must be US residents or hold appropriate VA licenses, with proof of licensure or compact status provided upon submission. No concurrent Riverside travel and per diem contracts, and RTO requests should be minimized and included in initial submissions. Floating assignments may be required based on facility needs.
