Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days, 10-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in orthopedic surgical procedures, including total joints, arthroscopies, trauma, and fractures
• Scrub in surgeries, maintaining sterile technique and supporting surgical team
• Circulate as the primary nurse during OR cases
• Adhere to case preference cards and assist with various surgical services such as General, Peds, Neuro, and Cardiac (possible float)
• Respond to call requirements with a 30-minute response time
• Support unit operations during assigned shifts, including possible floating to other OR services

Required Qualifications

• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program or military training in surgical technology
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Experience in orthopedic surgeries preferred
• Ability to scrub on orthopedic cases

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with orthopedic surgeries such as joint replacements and arthroscopies
• Familiarity with printed preference cards for cases
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to float requirements if needed
