Contract | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a free-standing Emergency Department setting
• Assess, triage, and manage a general patient population across a range of acuity levels
• Maintain patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:4–5 within an 8-bed unit
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality care
• Adhere to unit scheduling needs, including weekend rotations, with flexibility to meet staffing demands

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be on file at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends as determined by the unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a free-standing or community Emergency Department
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR documentation
