Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts) | Every other weekend required | Holidays based on unit needs
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Cardiac Telemetry unit
- Manage and monitor patients requiring cardiac drips including Heparin, Lasix, and Cardizem
- Assist with TR Band management straight from procedure
- Participate in the Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process
- Float to all acute care units as needed
- Document patient care accurately using the current EMR system (EPIC)
Required Qualifications
- Active Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience
- Experience with TR Band management post-procedure
- Experience with cardiac drips and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process
- New graduates are not eligible for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2–5 years of Telemetry nursing experience
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR
