Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Friday–Tuesday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM | On-call required (approximately one night per week and one weekend per month after scheduled shift)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a broad range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, vascular (carotid/venous), ABIs, small parts, and breast studies
- Complete exams within established time guidelines of 30–60 minutes per study
- Document and write exam reports following radiologist-approved protocols, templates, and written procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment including GE Logiq E10, Trophons, and Parks Flolab systems
- Utilize Cerner EMR and Philips Intellispace PACS for documentation and image management
- Float to outpatient ultrasound areas as needed based on proficiency
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience
- ARDMS certification in Abdomen (AB) or OB/GYN required
- Demonstrated OB ultrasound scanning experience
- Ability to perform general ultrasound and vascular studies
- BLS certification required
- Strong ability to work independently, write reports, and adhere to radiologist guidelines
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) registry preferred
- High-risk OB ultrasound experience strongly preferred
- Experience in a critical access or small-facility hospital setting
