Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (Variable hours between 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a hospital-based infusion center setting for patients with diagnoses including solid tumor cancers, lymphomas, chronic leukemia, iron deficiency, myelodysplastic syndrome, and neuro-oncology conditions
• Administer infusion therapies including chemotherapy, with procedures such as intravesicular chemotherapy for bladder cancer and intrathecal chemotherapy
• Assist with bone marrow aspirations and other specialized procedural care
• Operate specialized equipment including blood warmers, vein finders, ultrasound-guided IV machines, Hoyer lifts, and interpreter devices
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic medical records
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Previous infusion center and outpatient oncology experience required
• BLS certification required
• ONS or ONCC certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed, required for all RNs regardless of specialty)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification preferred
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
