Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a primarily Medical Surgical population, including observation patients, surgical patients, and surgical observation cases
• Manage patients with respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, diabetes (including new diabetics and those with complications), palliative care, end-of-life, and hospice needs
• Monitor and care for patients requiring psychiatric observation as appropriate to the unit
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must have a current driver's license on file to verify address
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience as a Charge RN
• Background in telemetry or EKG interpretation
