Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Flex Pool)

Contract | Days (0645–1915) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Float between multiple medical and surgical units including a Medical Unit, a Surgical Acute Unit, and a Cardiovascular Unit
• Provide direct patient care across units with varying nurse-to-patient ratios (1:4 to 1:6 depending on unit assignment)
• Operate and utilize facility EMR system (Meditech), Pyxis medication dispensing, wound vacs, and chest tubes
• Adhere to unit-specific orientation and training requirements for each assigned department
• Maintain professional nursing attire (clean scrubs) in accordance with facility dress code

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii RN license required by start of assignment
• Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Documented proof of immunity required; medical and religious exemptions will not be accepted in lieu of documentation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certifications in PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, or ENPC
• Up to 10 years of registered nursing experience in a medical/surgical or step-down setting
• Prior experience floating across multiple units or departments
