Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as a float nurse across medical, surgical, oncology, neuro, renal, and cardiology units within a short-term acute care facility
• Operate within patient ratios of 1:5–6 on days and weekends and 1:6 on nights
• Utilize telemetry monitoring and perform IV starts as part of routine patient care
• Call in to a recorded line up to one hour before shift start to receive unit assignment when in the float pool
• Operate lift devices including ceiling lifts and bladder scanners (training provided)
• Fulfill weekend obligations of every other weekend or a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule, plus holiday rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (MO or compact); pending MO license accepted at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required by compliance deadline
• Demonstrated IV start and telemetry competency
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Prior experience floating across multiple medical-surgical specialty units
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records charting system
