Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in performing cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures including LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, and IABP
• Operate and maintain GE X-ray imaging equipment within a 2-lab cath lab environment supporting approximately 10 cases daily
• Utilize documentation systems including Maclab and Meditech for accurate patient recordkeeping
• Fulfill on-call obligations including 7–9 call days per month with at least one weekend call requirement
• Demonstrate emergency medication knowledge and respond appropriately during urgent or emergent patient situations

Required Qualifications

• Active RN certification required
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience
• Proficiency with cath lab documentation systems (Maclab, Meditech)
• Working knowledge of emergency medications used in the cath lab setting
• Ability to perform and assist with advanced cath lab procedures (LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, IABP)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with GE X-ray imaging equipment in a cath lab environment
• Prior travel assignment experience in a cardiac cath lab or EP setting
