Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting, including antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum care
- Float as needed within the OB department, including Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Well-Baby Nursery
- Flex to Med/Surg as required, as this is a critical access facility with 25 beds requiring multifaceted nursing support
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner electronic health records
- Participate in on-call responsibilities and adhere to the facility's call-off policy (maximum 3 shifts per 13-week contract without penalty)
- Attend orientation, which is conducted on Tuesdays only
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Nebraska
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- PALS certification (AHA or ARC) or ENPC
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, or SANE certification
- Experience in a critical access or small rural hospital setting with demonstrated ability to float across multiple units
- Proficiency with Cerner charting system
