Respiratory Therapist – Adult Critical Care (RRT/CRT)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to adult critical care patients across ICU, step-down, and general acute care settings
• Support patients with complex cardiopulmonary conditions including ARDS, septic shock, heart failure, post-cardiac arrest, and post-surgical recovery?
• Operate and monitor advanced mechanical circulatory and respiratory support devices including ECMO, IABP, and Impella
• Participate in emergency team activations as required
• Document all patient care activities using Epic electronic health records
• Float within adult population areas as needed, utilizing consistent policies, equipment, and charting systems

Required Qualifications

• NBRC RRT credential required (CRT will be considered)
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license must be in hand at time of start
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of adult critical care respiratory therapy experience
• No first-time travelers accepted for this role

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiovascular ICU patients including heart and lung transplant, durable LVAD, and temporary mechanical circulatory support
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
• Experience in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or Level 1 Trauma facility
