MRI Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal studies
- Execute advanced imaging techniques including diffusion imaging (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, spin echo images, and CINE
- Utilize surface coils and apply T1 and T2 imaging protocols accurately
- Operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment in accordance with facility protocols
- Document patient information and imaging data using EPIC electronic health records system
- Provide imaging services for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations; familiarity with neonates, infants, and pediatric patients preferred
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
- Must not be a first-time traveler; prior travel experience required
- Active ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- NC state license or compact license required (pending licensure acceptable at time of submission)
- Must be available for full orientation week with no scheduling conflicts during the first week
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with chest MRI imaging
- Proficiency in image post-processing techniques
- Familiarity with neonatal, infant, and pediatric patient populations
