Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients with various acuities across the age spectrum on a Medical/Surgical unit
- Evaluate and apply the nursing process, documenting all findings accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Direct and coordinate patient care activities throughout the shift
- Collaborate with ancillary staff to ensure comprehensive, team-based patient care
- Communicate effectively with providers and co-workers regarding changes in patient conditions
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Montana
- Experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing setting
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work night shift hours
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience caring for patients across a broad acuity range and age spectrum
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary care teams
