Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate physical and functional status of patients and establish and implement an appropriate plan of care within the scope of Physical Therapy practice
- Document initial evaluations, re-evaluations, progress notes, daily treatment, education, and discharge summaries in compliance with applicable rehabilitation policies
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers in strategies to manage pain, improve safety and function, and support individualized plans of care
- Identify and address patient safety concerns, implementing appropriate processes to ensure safety for patients, families, and caregivers
- Complete all required education and training on time per applicable regulatory and organizational requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher; graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active Montana Physical Therapist licensure
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Completion of a minimum of two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of two (2) years of physical therapy experience
- Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress clinical environment
