iDEAL HIRE is hiring a new Registered Nurse (RN) for our client, in a public school district. This is for the full 2026/27 School Year, working in Jacksonville FL, offering a pay rate of $32.75–$34.75/hr.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide 1:1 nursing support for a student with complex medical and physical needs.
• Deliver skilled care involving mechanical ventilation and tracheostomy support.
• Assist with safe student transfers, including wheelchair transfers, mechanical lifts, and adaptive seating.
• Support activities of daily living, including hygiene, diapering, mobility, and personal care.
• Collaborate with school staff, therapists, paraprofessionals, and family members.
• Maintain professional attendance standards and communicate directly regarding lateness, absences, or call-outs.
• Support a safe, caring, and medically appropriate school environment.

What We're Looking For

• Licensure: Active and unrestricted RN license required.
• Certification: Current CPR certification; BLS required.
• Experience: Mechanical ventilation and tracheostomy care experience required.
• Preferred Experience: Pediatric, school-based, or special education setting experience strongly preferred.
• Compliance: Background check clearance and AHCA/fingerprint clearance required.
• Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and student-centered care skills.
• Work Authorization: Valid authorization to work in Florida/the United States.
