Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 4 x 10-Hour Shifts | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM | Weekend Rotation Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in an inpatient acute care setting on the Rehab Services unit
- Manage a daily caseload of 8–10 patients across a rotating schedule that includes weekends
- Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes using EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary therapy team including PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and COTAs
- Perform evaluations and therapeutic interventions appropriate to an acute care inpatient population
- Operate independently and adapt to a fast-paced hospital environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
- Acute care experience is required; candidates without this background will not be considered
- Must be able to obtain Alaska state fingerprint clearance and pass a state background check prior to or at start of assignment (cleared or provisional status accepted)
- Ability to work a rotating schedule including 2–3 weekends per month (Saturdays and Sundays)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel therapy assignment experience
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system
