Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department with approximately 44,000 visits per year across a 34-bed unit
- Perform triage, IV initiation, and moderate sedation procedures
- Execute Stroke, Sepsis, and Trauma protocols as required
- Operate unit equipment including EKG, Lucas device, cardiac monitors, Dynamap, POC, and iStat
- Document and manage patient care using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, triage nurses, and paramedics while maintaining a 1:4 patient ratio
Required Qualifications
- Active Compact RN License required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department environment
