Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekends Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit with a 1:1–2 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 14-bed unit
- Circulate during obstetric procedures as required by unit needs
- Float to supporting roles in NICU and Postpartum as staffing needs dictate
- Utilize EMR systems including Cerner and GE Centricity to document and manage patient care
- Maintain flexibility to meet unit scheduling needs; no block scheduling is offered
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee or a valid Multistate/Compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Ability to circulate required
- Current BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, and ACLS certifications required at time of submission
- Must be available for September start dates and have no time-off requests during the Epic Go Live period
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating to NICU or Postpartum settings
- Familiarity with Cerner and/or GE Centricity EMR platforms
