Special Procedures / Interventional Radiology Technologist

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 6-Week Assignment | Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with On-Call Requirements | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with interventional radiology and special procedures including peripheral angiography, angioplasty, stenting, embolization, and thrombolysis
- Support image-guided procedures such as biopsy, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
- Operate imaging equipment (GE Innova platform) in accordance with departmental and safety standards
- Document procedures accurately using MacLab and Meditech documentation systems
- Participate in on-call coverage as required by departmental scheduling
Required Qualifications
- Current BLS certification — must be included in submission packet
- Current ACLS certification — must be included in submission packet
- Experience in cardiac catheterization lab or interventional radiology procedures
- Critical care background required
- Proficiency with interventional imaging equipment and related documentation systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with GE Innova imaging systems
- Experience with MacLab and/or Meditech documentation platforms
- Background in a high-volume interventional or special procedures environment
