Travel RN – Medical/Surgical Ortho/Spine (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: 08/31/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Ortho/Spine unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Care for patients undergoing knee and hip replacements as well as multi-level spine surgeries
• Utilize unit equipment including coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs in daily patient care
• Document patient information and care accurately using the Meditech documentation system
• Collaborate with unit secretaries, PCTs, and Navigators to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
• Adhere to scheduling requirements including 4 weekend shifts per schedule block and unit rotation floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Strong ortho/spine background required
• Demonstrated compassion and ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to meet a 72% patient experience requirement standard

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with post-surgical orthopedic and spine patient populations
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic documentation system
• Experience in a travel nursing capacity or fast-paced acute care environment
