Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift, 13-Week Contract)

Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13 Weeks | Rotating Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio on the night shift
• Perform and assist with emergency procedures including intubation and central line placement
• Operate and monitor equipment including ventilators and Baxter IV pumps
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, medics, triage nurses, and unit secretaries
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications
• Demonstrated patient experience and emergency response skills
• Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech Expanse EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
• Experience with intubation assistance and central line procedures in an emergency setting
• Team-oriented, flexible personality well-suited to a fast-paced ED environment
