Registered Nurse – NICU / Pediatric Float Pool

Contract | Days (4x12 Hours, 7:00–19:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Float across multiple pediatric units including PICU, NICU, Pediatric Med/Surg, Pediatric PACU, Pediatric ED, and Postpartum/Mother Baby
• Deliver high-quality, age-appropriate nursing care to neonatal and pediatric patient populations
• Adapt clinical practice to meet the needs of varied pediatric units as assigned per float pool policy
• Participate in every other weekend and every other holiday rotation as required
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia (pending license accepted; must be in hand prior to start date)
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
• NICU experience required
• Current BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (may be submitted as pending)
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a Pediatric PACU setting highly preferred
• Prior NICU/PICU float pool experience preferred
• BSN preferred
